About Our Company
Our company started in 1942 with my grandfather Bill Rickey.
He started a septic service for the rural areas surrounding the counties near Joplin. My grandfather wanted to ensure that customer service was the hallmark of his business acumen. His idea: putting the needs of the customer first would lead to everything falling into place from there. He was right.
Twenty years later he saw the increasing need and demand for portable toilets in and around construction areas and then for public events. When that end of the business took off, Bill Rickey Porta Potty was formed using the same principless as the septic service.
Septic Service
For the other portion of our business, we clean and service septic tanks. We make the job easy. But in order to make sure you're ahead of the game, get it checked at least once a year. We've seen septic back-up as a potentially big problem facing homeowners and can cost $1000s if it backs up enough to flood your home or property.
